Translation from Welsh golegi

Dydh da! I've come across two pages (Peiriant torri gwair and Teneuo coedwigaeth) in Welsh rather than Cornish. As one of the only active Welsh speaking editors here, if you feel like translating it to Cornish and merging the Welsh with the articles on cywiki that'd be great. If not, that's fine and I'll start the process of deleting them - just thought I may as well see if there's anything you can do with them. Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure golegi

How do you say "Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure" in Cornish? 2600:1700:53F0:AD70:6D05:6FA5:E0B6:26A7 15:59, 6 Hedra 2021 (UTC)Reply

I saw an sawysi on both The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under, but this is only half of the latter title. What should the rest of it be? Also, can there be anything added to these articles? 2600:1700:53F0:AD70:7888:637C:14F:DF54 01:30, 7 Hedra 2021 (UTC)Reply
An Sawysi does mean the rescuers, but I've never seen the film and don't know the context. Presumably Down Under means Australia, so 'An Sawysi yn Ostrali'. Of course you can add to the articles. You could include a resume of the plot, the names of thw writers etc. How are you learning Cornish, by the way? Brwynog (keskows) 15:56, 7 Hedra 2021 (UTC)Reply
Well, I'm very limited, that's why I ask these questions. I would add the plots and everything, but I would only be able to say it in English. Yes, it is in Australia, and it is about two mice (Bernard and Bianca) traveling to the Australian Outback to save a boy named Cody from a villainous poacher in pursuit of an endangered bird of prey. It was directed by Hendel Butoy and Mike Gabriel from a screenplay by Jim Cox, Karey Kirkpatrick, Byron Simpson, and Joe Ranft. The first Rescuers film has Bernard and Miss Bianca set out to rescue Penny, an orphan girl being held prisoner in the Devil's Bayou by treasure huntress Madame Medusa. Again, I would not know how to write it in Cornish, I'm very limited so far. But a page that was deleted is Chicken Run, a 2000 stop-motion animated comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation, Aardman Animations, and Pathé. A proper stub would be nice. Also, "Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure" is the sequel to the 1973 animated film Charlotte's Web. Charlotte's Web is about a pig named Wilbur who befriends an intelligent spider named Charlotte who saves him from being slaughtered. One of the other deleted articles that would be useful would be Walt Disney. Usually users not fluent in Cornish create articles copy-pasted from others. I've been one to do that. Last year I asked Devnydhyer:Aqchampion about these same articles. Unfortunately no one seems interested. I know the facts, but only in English. Finally, for So Dear to My Heart (fylm 1949), sources indicate that that film is actually from 1948, and it shouldn't need the disambiguation in the title if there is no other topic with the name. If you'll notice Devnydhyer:WikiBayer has deleted many pages, but some of them could have been useful if written properly. But if it's too much to ask, I might should stick to the stub articles. But often those get deleted if they are too short. In the meantime, thank you for this. 2600:1700:53F0:AD70:C4F2:3EF9:E74:4DCA 16:23, 7 Hedra 2021 (UTC)Reply
Try these websites for starters. Once you improve, you'll find you'll be able to write a lot more and they won't get deleted. That's probably your best strategy.

The deleted pages are machine translations by a LTA. WikiBayer (keskows) 18:23, 7 Hedra 2021 (UTC)Reply
For The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, I found "gooth" for "pride" (on the cornishdictionary), but it might be wrong. It's "pride" as in "a group of lions" in the title. But also, is it supposed to use capital letters or lowercase letters for film title translations? In English we use capital letters for nouns, but other languages usually don't. Finally, for Chicken Run, I wanted to translate the sentence "Yn y ffilm, mae Ginger sy'n tywys grŵp o gywion i geisio dianc o fferm Mr. a Mrs. Tweedy." from cy:Chicken Run. The page I created I had help from other kw pages, except the Welsh part. Is there anyone possibly interested in the articles? I'm still struggling to learn Cornish, I looked for "pride" in the cornishdictionary and found "gooth", but if it's wrong, please fix it. Thank you. 2600:1700:53F0:AD70:F1F0:9357:6DF9:2C62 15:37, 11 Hedra 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Can you please translate these two articles into Cornish? I also asked another user but I don't think he's active. The articles don't need to be long, just a few sentences are enough. :)

Meur ras, I'll check it out today Brwynog (keskows) 05:46, 11 Hedra 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's an additional one called the 'Cornish Day Tartan' Brwynog (keskows) 05:50, 11 Hedra 2023 (UTC)Reply
And it's already there in the 'Brith Kernewek' article as Brith Gool Piran Brwynog (keskows) 07:18, 11 Hedra 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't see how the one on the register and the one on Brith Kernewek can both be number 1262. Aqchampion (keskows) 07:35, 11 Hedra 2023 (UTC)Reply
They are the same pattern - the quality of the image is slightly different. The Cornish Day Tartan is used on St Piran's Day, hence Brith Gool Piran. Brwynog (keskows) 07:53, 11 Hedra 2023 (UTC)Reply
