English: Brecon Mountain Railway - Redstone. This is vertical boiler 0-4-0 locomotive has a most interesting story, It was built in 1903 for the children of owner of the Penmaenmawr granite quarry to use on a garden railway. It was built by Mr Redstone, the foreman fitter, as a 2' model of a 3' De Winton quarry locomotive. In the 1920s it was being used in anger at the Trefor Quarry near Porthmadog. It has mow had a full restoration to working order, including a new boiler.
