العربية: صُورة للكُثبان الرمليَّة في صحراء الرُبع الخالي، بشبه الجزيرة العربيَّة. تمَّ التقاطُها بواسطة راديومتر الانبعاثات والإشعاعات الحراريَّة الفضائيَّة المُتقدِّم، أو ASTER، على متن القمر الاصطناعي المداري ترَّا.
English: Image of sand dunes in Rub' al Khali, Arabia's "empty quarter". Acquired by the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer, or ASTER, aboard NASA's Terra Earth-orbiting satellite.

Italiano: La tipica disposizione subparallela ad elevato sviluppo longitudinale (“seif”) delle dune del Rubʿ al-Khālī, in una foto scattata dal sensore remoto ASTER che equipaggia il satellite per telerilevamento Terra (EOS AM-1). “Il quarto vuoto” (الربع الخالي) è uno dei più vasti deserti sabbiosi (erg) del mondo e ricopre il terzo più meridionale della penisola araba.
