English: Devoran Village Hall. The village hall was formerly the workshops of the Redruth and Chasewater Railway. On entering the village, the railway split into three: the line to the wharves and docks ran to the right along Quay Road, a spur ran into the workshops and the upper branch (which became a horse-drawn tramway down to Point) ran to the left behind the workshops and in front of the houses of Carclew Terrace. |
